Virtual Whiteboard includes many great features to help you and your colleagues collaborate together.
Even though Virtual Whiteboard is a web-based system, our intention is to provide an environment as functionally rich, yet easy to use, as possible. Furthermore, with great feedback from the internet community, we hope to continue improving Virtual Whiteboard on a frequent basis.
The Virtual Whiteboard user toolbar (shown above) provides access to all of the common functions and elements for working on a virtual whiteboard, and is present on the screen at all times.

A text chat function is available for sending & receiving text messages with other users in the same virtual whiteboard.
This provides a simple way to communicate if other conferencing mediums are unavailable (e.g. telephones or webcams). |

Virtual Whiteboards can be exported as images (JPEG) for including in documents or other materials. The export
function allows images to be shrunk on the fly as well as providing dynamic selection of which whiteboard elements to include in the final image exported. |

Various symbols are provided for users to express their ideas and designs on the virtual whiteboard.
These include flowcharting elements, mathematical notation, and even musical symbols. Symbols can be selected easily and moved around on the virtual whiteboard by dragging them with the mouse. You can even resize symbols by holding the SHIFT key down while dragging them! Along with symbols, Virtual Whiteboard also provides a clipart library for including images on whiteboards too. Images can be moved around and resized just like symbols. |

As a registered user, you can assign keywords to your virtual whiteboards and locate them later using the search
functionality of the Virtual Whiteboard management screen. From here you can also copy, delete, and archive your whiteboards, and even save them as external files for sharing with other (registered) users. |
Have a look at the features described above by starting a virtual whiteboard yourself! Click the Create New Virtual Whiteboard button and invite your friends or colleagues to collaborate with by using the Invite function when viewing the whiteboard.
